This camp is about science and learning, not just Minecraft. Make sure your child understands this – we won’t have any player-vs-player (PvP violent play) and won’t be joining any big game servers like Mineplex or Bedwars. We provide Java edition Minecraft accounts and computers for all students and everything is free.

To Enroll

  1. This camp is part of a research study funded by the National Science Foundation run in collaboration with the University of Illinois, University of Maine and University of Pennsylvania. To fully enroll your child, you will need to fill out the WHIMC-UMaine Parental Consent form (link to be sent via email at a future date or filled out in-person on the first day of camp). Your child does not have to participate in the research study to attend camp, we just need to know if they are participating.
  2. Please fill out the WHIMC Emergency Contact Information and Talent Release form and either email it to us or bring it to the first day of camp.
  3. Please fill out this google form. You will receive an email from bryce.roix@maine.edu. At that time we will indicate what seats are available. We will also send out the additional links that are not available.

Please reach out to Bryce at bryce.roix@maine.edu if you have any questions.

We look forward to hearing from you!
